This book has many answers that Betty Eadie has given that others have asked about her Near Death Experience. In it she shows the Ripple Effect we have on other people through our thoughts and actions. This book is for people searching for answers from the spiritual aspect as well as the physical. I learned alot and will read this book many times as it has so much share.

I was inspired by this book. I have read her other 2 books and found those to be great. Particularly her first book "Embraced by the Light". Her second book was still good but not in the same league as Embraced. This book almost gets back up to that par, worth reading and re-reading and re-reading again. However, I would suggest reading her books in order Embraced by The Light then the Awakening Heart and then The Ripple Effect. I strongly reccomend them.

I loved Embraced By The Light, The Awkening Heart was increadable, but, The Ripple Effect answered all of my questions so clearly that I must say it is now the best book I have ever read!!!

After reading Embraced by the Light and The Awakening Heart, I was inspired and intrigued by Betty Eadie's near death experience and her journey to the other side. However, I still had many questions. The Ripple Effect has answered most of them and is a definite 'must have' whether you're a follower of Betty's writings or just curious. Not only does it provide the answers but also gives insight as to why we're here and what we can do to spread the love and goodness that our earthly world so desperately needs. I highly recommend this truly wonderful book. The world would indeed be a better place if everyone read it and abided by 'the ripple effect'.

What peace and hope I received from reading The Ripple effect. My 19 year old son passed away after a short bout with leukemia, the comfort I've gained from reading this book has stayed with me. Every word spoke to me.

This is one of the first "spiritual" books I ever read, and it's lessons continue to impact my life!

The most important lesson is that of the "ripple effect" - that the way we treat others impacts many more lives than we could ever imagine. For instance, if you are having a bad day, and are ignorant to a cashier at the local supermarket, chances are you haven't just had a negative impact on her. If she becomes agitated by your ignorance, she may become nasty to her other customers - who then become agitated and treat the other people they encounter in a negative manner. So, your nastyness to 1 person could literally impact hundreds (maybe even thousands) of people in one day.

This also works in a positive way - if you are pleasant, and go out of your way to help another, their appreciation will have a ripple effect. Chances are that they will then do something nice for someone else - and on and on - until your 1 nice deed has impacted hudreds (or even thousands) of people in a positive way.

Looking at the world as it is today, I tend to think that many of us just don't realize the impact we have on those we come into contact with.

Overall, because this concept is of such importance today, I would recommend this book to EVERYONE!

This is an amazing book with amazing insight to spiritual things. Its very loving and non judgemental. I love Betty Eadie so much for writing her books. I have read all of them. This one I refer to almost daily. It helped me so much when I was going through severe hardships in my life. I disagree with other reviewer about talking about Satan too much. In fact she rarely mentions Satan, but talks of the powers of positive and negative energy. Beautiful book, beautifully written. We love you Betty!

In The Ripple Effect: Our Harvest, Betty reveals knowledge about the positive and negative forces that Rhonda Byrne explains in her books. If you want extra background on the truths that Rhonda Byrne has unearthed, read this book. Betty speaks truths that no human could know on their own without these having been revealed to her by a Higher Power.

After reading Embraced by the Light and The Awakening Heart I just had to read more.
The Ripple Effect answered a lot of questions in more detail. I can hardly explain the knoledge I have gained from reading these books. Thanks Betty Eadie for the lesson in spiritial awakening. I am awake now and very much at peace with myself and my life. Things are so calm now, now that I understand the reason for this life.

Back in 2000, I had been without a car, and one day, I was prompted to jump on the bicycle to go to the nearest mall, and when I got there, the thought was that I had to go to the book store there, then when I went in, I made a bee-line strait to where the Near Death Experience books where, and immediately saw, and grabbed this book, and looked only at the cover of it, and paid the $22 for it, and took it home. This book had many answers to prayer in it for me. Whether or not there is any error in it, it still changed my life for the better.
