I don't usually buy cds. However,when I heard the title track of this cd played on a local radio station, I knew I definitely wanted to make this piece of music my own. I was not disapointed. This cd displays a great deal of musical depth. Depending on your mood, these songs may make you want to dance, sing along, hum along, or perhaps even write a poem, paint a watercolor, or compose a song of your own. The "Make It Good" cut alone is worth the price of the cd. It would be a rare soul who could listen to "When they gave me your wedding ring in a plastic bag/I understood what it means to come home/So if you have someone you really love/make it short, make it long, but make it good" without some emotional reaction. It seems like a lot of this cd is about loss and healing and hope. It's beautiful message we all need to hear.

So I anxiously awaited Ripple and knew I'd like it but still......well talk about a great surprise - passing even my super-high expectations this CD puts it all together musically & lyrically and gets to the heart, to the passion every time. It is Sheryl at her *best*. If you want to be emotionally moved and allow your ears the pleasure of outstanding musical arrangements, then take a listen! You won't be disappointed. It is one of those CD's you just won't want to take out of your CD player.
