This book is an entertaining, fast reading, fun, and attention-holding book about several young lives growing up in a remote summer community. Their lives are intertwined with the companionship of each other, the older-wiser adults (who can also learn from the youngsters), and the mysteries that can only be found in a place that has been a silent participant in many historical junctures through time. It is obvious that the author spent a great deal of well thought-out research as the details in the book jump out at you and are understandible even if you are just a casual fan of the beach and don't have a maritime background. Bravo, Mr. Endicott, Bravo!!

I wasn't sure what to expect with Mr. Endicott's first attempt at writing fiction, but I was intrigued by the story description. I have to say, Ripples was a nice, enjoyable read! It brought back a flood of memories of spending summers gowing up in a small beachside community; a total other life away from fall & winter friends, neighbors and school. They were the best times and Peter Endicott captured it beautifully. A fun, entertaining story from start to finish.

I totally enjoyed the novel Ripples. I wasn't sure what to expect from the title but it will after you read it. I loved the characters, evolution of the story, and the setting. I was pleasantly surprised with the ending. It's a fun easy read full of adventures--that you jump into and feel like you are there. I could not wait to read what was going to happen next. I highly recommend this book, you will not be disappointed. Ripples
