Book Description

***WARNING***

This is not for the squeamish or for those who may have weak stomachs. If you're offended by vulgar and crude language or if the thought of a desperate ragtag group of cataclysmic survivors doing what's necessary to stay alive in an apocalyptic world brings any semblance of bile to the back of your throat.

Run like hell...

After the release of "Annihilation", a synthetic designer drug that was marketed as a perfectly legal high, turned its unsuspecting users into "feeders." ( It causes imminent death and then re-animation into a zombie like state.)

This is the first in a series of episodes that follows the adventures of Mason Briggs, and a group of survivors that he meets and loses along the way. If you like action packed and gory - You'll be in for a wild ride.

5.0 out of 5 stars Gruesome, Scary and Good December 28, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
If you're a fan of 'The Walking Dead' or a zombie fan like I am, you will enjoy read this book. This Zombie story is action oriented, fast paced, and the dialogue is hilarious.
This is a good read if you like short novella type stories and can't get enough of zombies getting their heads bashed in.

4.0 out of 5 stars This book should have its own soundtrack! December 17, 2012

I have somewhat followed this quiet `bath salt ` drug epidemic that has been infiltrating the U.S for the last two years. So when I started to read "Rise of Chaos: Annihilation" by Griffin Smith it was truly frightening. Smith pulls his story right from our own headlines which is scary enough, but what is even more frightening, is that Smiths story may prove to read as a non fiction guide in the near future. .. Follow Mason, Brody, Barry, Pulani, Cujo, Captain Tony and Kalen on a survivalist journey of horror(Spoiler, not everyone makes it but I won't say who gets it) Not for the weak of constitution, Griffin once again delivers some stomach churning, profanity laced, violent ,zombie action. If you enjoy Capcom's Resident Evil Series game or fiction , give "Rise of Chaos: Annihilation" a read.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sex, Zombies and Drugs, what more could you want! December 16, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Fast paced short novel, probably has more appeal for Zombie lovers. The premise of a recreational drug turning people into zombies is topical, and the book is raw in all aspects. It doesn't really offer anything new, but it is very fun, and better written than most of gets thrown up on Kindle for a buck. This one is worth it a lot more than others.

1.0 out of 5 stars Waste of money March 9, 2013
By Wayne
Format:Kindle Edition
The book is actually well written, all 40 pages of it. I'm sick of these authors writing one book and cutting it up into a few chapters and the selling us the next few chapters and trying to call it a book. This should be labeled what it is 4 chapters of a book.

5.0 out of 5 stars RJarvis November 19, 2012

For Zombie Lovers. The first thing I have have to say is that the books jumps right into it. Your attention is grabbed off the start as you picture yourself with the main character "Mason" trying to get some sleep and it isn't going to happen. Lots of course language which in my opinion makes it seem more realistic but not recommended to those who might be offended. There is certainly an element of comedy to the gory descriptions almost as if you could really see this stuff happening...if nothing else certainly entertaining.

The nonstop struggle reminds me of the TV series "The Walking Dead" as the author describes events through out the book. If your a zombie lover this book is for you. I found it to be very intriguing as Mason starts out on his own and then builds up a team as they work their way through Chaos!

3.0 out of 5 stars Lacking anchor to reality.
Doubt the writer has any firearms knowledge. The read was a bit too predictable and shallow. It's a good start.
