Brutal death metal,

If you're a fan of good brutal death metal like Hour of Penance, Deicide, Cannibal Corpse or Morbid Angel, you will like this album. Aeon is good stuff mayne.

I got this CD after already being familiar with the previous band some of these guys were in, "Defaced Creation" which was a killer band I never got to listen to back in 1995 when they were around. I was hoping this CD would be as good as their previous work. Although there are some good moments on this cd, I just can't ignore all the parts they stole from a famous Death Metal band . It's pretty obvious who these guys worship, and it's not Satan but Morbid Angel.
It's a good listen but in my most humble opinion, it falls short from the masterpiece they created as "Defaced Creation". BTW, if you can find a copy of Defaced Creation's 1995 cd, grab it. They are hard and STUPID EXPENSIVE! |
