Best to avoid this turkey of a series,

In vol 1 of these collected trade paperbacks, I had given a cautious 3 star rating for the Red Sonja Series. By the time you reach vol 3, I think it obvious to say that the storyline has completely deteriorated. Whatever discernible plot that there is is further ruined by multiple flashbacks, obviously drawn by different artists rushing to push this product out without much coordination and the effect is completely jarring. I will take note of this particular writer Oeming and will strenuously avoid all his comic books in the future. The ambiguous artwork only further compounds the complexity, and it is very hard to follow thru on any fight sequences. Even the rather nice and salacious covers collected together at the end cannot save this turkey of a series. Such a wasted effort.
