Gets the Job Done
Generally good information on missions and storyline, though would have preferred more in-depth strategy tips.

Rise of Legends Strategy Guide?
This is one of the worst strategy guides Prima has put out in recent memory. The book offers no insight into the different races and does not even aknowledge the unique units produced by the Vinci. There are no tables, no charts, and no tips. No multiplayer tips. You would be better off going onto the website. Don't waste your money.

My son (aged 8) and myself (somewhat older) have recently started playing the PC game Rise of Legends. He enjoys the built-in campaigns and we both enjoy playing each other across the home network. I tried to get this guide (out of print on both sides of the Atlantic) and decided to see if it was available on the US site of Amazon. It was and we've glad we ordered it. It's a colourful, child-accessible guide that is an interesting read in itself. Why four stars? My son would like the guide to contain the cheats as well. I'm more ethical!
