Liz Curtis Higgs speaks from the heart. She has been there, done that, and survived it all to write it down and relate to you! The book is divided into a daily devotional, about 2 easy to read pages for each day. Liz recommends only reading one devotional per day so that you do not get spiritual whiplash!
Liz writes on a practical spiritual level, she does not talk down to her readers or preach her beliefs in an over-bearing way.
I really recommend this book to anyone who is looking for that little extra lift, or to anyone who needs that constant reassurance that life, in general, is ok no matter how chaotic it is. Give this book one week and it will become part of your normal morning routine. Start each morning the right way!
It may change your attitude and maybe even your life!

I love this book! Normally I don't read devotionals, preferring to spend my time studying the Bible in-depth. But my sister purchased this for me, knowing I'm a huge LCH fan. I can't praise this book enough. Every morning I look forward to reading the day's devotional, and often I end up reading three or four before I can put the book down. It's a terrific way to start the day out right--praising God, drawing into His presence, and having a good chuckle while I'm at it. Kudos to you, Liz, for writing such a lovely book.

I love this book. Author is humorous and gives you something to think about on a daily basis. I would recommend all of this author's books!

I purchased this book for my wife, who wanted a devotional guide that was encouraging and positive. This is it! The author is wonderful, my wife loves it.

No matter what is going on in your life, when you pick up this devotional book and begin to read, you will be astounded--Liz is writing about the very situation you are currently facing! This devotional is a true treasure and one that can be read over and over again because the message never gets old.

Incredibly good read full of scripture with stories from the author's life that will have you rolling with laughter. She has such an amazing sense of humor as she tells readers about so many of her embarrassing & hysterical escapades in her journey called life. I highly recommend this book for lots of thought provoking insights & many giggles for your day!!!

LCH is such a great writer and in this she maintains her relatable writing. I enjoyed reading this every morning over coffee & toast, and i often read more than one at once i was so enveloped in the studies. I haven't done it for a while so i must re-do some and get back to spending time with my Lord and reading His word.

I only wished I had 100 or more to give away. Everyone, and I do mean everyone, loves this book. She is so on target.

THis is a great devotional to start your day. I love the way that Liz Curtis Higgs writes. It is always straitforward and honest. A reminder of how all of us can be and also what to aspire to. I highly recommend this book.
