Having listened to this CD (cassette) countless times with my two boys on car vacations, as background music while building wooden train layouts on Saturday afternoons, and as wakeup music, I still find myself singing many of these infectious songs to myself. Now my boys are older (ages 6 and 9) and I realize that, although they occasionally will pop this tape into the player, the greatest gift of Raffi's music are the wonderful memories he has provided me and my family. But, it's not over yet. Today I'm ordering this CD as a baby shower gift because, as with all good music, it IS the gift that keeps on giving.

We love Raffi songs in our home, and this CD is definitely the favorite! "Thumbelina" will stay in your head for days, and "Something in My Shoe" will get your toes tapping. This CD has a perfect blend of national and international folk songs and oringinal songs. Truly Raffi's best work. Our only concern is that the tune of "Wheels on the Bus" is not the traditional version that many Americans are accustomed to, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. My children are simply learning that there is more than one way to sing a song!

My two year old and I both love these infectious, toe-tapping songs! A collection of sweet, charming songs.

We have this CD as part of the outstanding 3-CD collection called "Raffi's Box of Sunshine." We've been listening to it every day for weeks now.

It has a lot of faster songs for dancing and moving, and there are some great songs for singing along with. Some songs rhyme and repeat, which is great for language development, and the themes are good for children. Raffi is a great songwriter. We never get tired of it - even adults.

This cd is really good. Children love to sing along with him. They will love everything about it and thwy will dance around and jump up and down.

I'm previewing cds from the library before purchasing for my new grandson. I listened to this today, and it's a keeper!

I loved Walk, Walk, Walk - a song about walking to school. The Numbers Rhumba would be a fun song to sing and dance along with your child. All of the songs were easy for adults to listen to, and fun to sing along with. The lyrics are exceptionally sensory - Something in my Shoe, for example. And the words are simple and visual. I highly recommend this cd.

I got this for my 18 month old, but it turns out the whole family loves it. Great selection of upbeat and calming songs. Daddy asked to play it in the car on road trips! My favorite is the Five Little Ducks.

My own children loved this album when they were little and now the young children I teach love it too. Raffi's voice is warm and relaxing. All the songs are fun, but my favorites are Raffi's version of the "Numbers Rumba" which is very fun and easy for children to learn and dance along to, and "Something in My Shoe," a silly and extremely original song that always inspires giggles. Great, great album!

simply put...i love raffi! I bought it for my 5 month old daughter and she loves it. It will last her for years to come...great songs for any age child. We had this when I was little and I will never forget these songs!

I have music classes for children ages 2 to 5 years old. I often have 25 of them at a time. When the children hear Raffi"s voice they are captivated and eager to sing along.
