Great songs but...,

I give this an average rating because the songs are re-recordings of the originals. My wife has Tommy's original "Six White Horses" album and so I was hoping to hear the original version but alas not so. If you are a Cash Family fan I suppose these are a must for you but if you like the sound of the original songs then you might want to try to find them elsewhere.
I am not totally disappointed though. After-all Tommy Cash is still Tommy Cash.

I got this for a relative who could not find this in any store . She really likes the CD. She likes Johnny and Tommy Cash both so enjoyed all of the songs on this cd. She had wanted the cd that was titled Fade to Black but could not find it anywhere. So got this one.

Very Good Album BUT!!!!,

Tommy Cash is a great singer and rise and shine is one of my favorite albums of all time. I still have the original album on vinyl, However these are not the original recordings. I have looked for the originals and can't find them. This album is still a very good album. Glad to have it on cd. But will continue to look for the originals.
