4.0 out of 5 stars Cute gift, excellent tea, but tea pot smaller than advertised.
I got this for my wife for Mother's Day. It was between this and the Numi's Bouquet Bamboo Gift Set with Clear Teapot and Nine Flowering Teas. The clincher was that this had the Earl Grey, my wife's favorite, and Rishi's was apparently named the best Earl Grey in 2008 by the World Tea Expo. My wife loved it! 3.0 out of 5 stars Not Worth the Price!
Was disappointed in the size and for how much I paid for it being so small! Otherwise the tea tastes good.

The Earl Grey was excellent (the China Breakfast was good, but not really memorable).

The only gripe I have with this, and the reason for the 4-star review, is that the tea pot is small. The description says it's a 10 ounce (300 ml) teapot. I think it's at most 8 ounces if you fill it to the brim, but the instructions say not to fill it past the top of the handle. So the amount of tea you're brewing is probably closer to 6 ounces, which is probably the right amount for a traditional tea cup, but it was a little disappointing when I expected to be able to brew closer to 10 ounces.

Also, the instructions said to use 2 teaspoons of tea leaves for the tea pot, and Rishi's website recommends 1 tablespoon per 8 ounces, when seasoned tea drinkers usually go with a teaspoon per 8 ounces. I'd definitely stick with the tea drinkers on this. For the approximately 6 ounces this glass tea pot brews, I'd use no more than a teaspoon of their tea. The leaves are good enough to be steeped two or three times, and I've found the second steeping to have the best taste.
