John Toland's books are meticulously researched and full of details discovered after the events through detailed research. The result in this case is not different: an engrossing, fast paced account of war in the Pacific with the accounts of the Japanese who participated. A must read for anyone who likes history and a must for anyone interested in WW2. This is how it was in the Pacific side of the world war. Toland is a master writer and story teller. Don't miss it.
