Risking it All,
This review is from: Risking It All (Harlequin Blaze) (Mass Market Paperback)
Rina Calhoun makes a living out of filming documentaries. Her new love is filming extreme sports and all the players involved. While filming a video about on the edge surfing, she runs across a surfer that catches her eye and before she realizes it, she has made a video of him alone. She knows that this video is enough to give her the big break she needs to be treated seriously and move up in the filmmaking industry. There is just one huge problem. Rina's surfer, John Cashman, refuses to sign the release form and without his signature, the break she is hoping for won't happen.
John "Cash" Cashman would love to indulge the pretty filmmaker doing her best to convince him to sign her release form. However, she can talk until she is blue in the face but he can't sign it. See, he is in a bit of a bind. While Rina thinks he is nothing but a bad boy surfer, nothing could be further from the truth. Cash Cashman is actually an undercover Navy SEAL. Loved, loved, loved Risking It All! Navy SEALS are completely sexy to me so I had no doubts that I would be enamored of Cash. I was. The fact that he was undercover added to my illusion of the big bad protector and I just could not get enough of him. Rina's character was the perfect complement to Cash's. While she had reservations about his career, and rightly so, I love how she came to grips with her feelings and was able to make the right choices concerning her relationship with Cash. All in all, Stephanie Tyler has written a sensual, satisfying, and totally enjoyable book with Risking It All. I can't wait to tell my friends about it. Talia reviewed for Joyfully Reviewed

Loved It!,

I bought this book not expecting much and was really surprised. I love military romance books and this was a good one. The characters were great and I hope there will be books for the other SEALS in this book. There is a book that precedes this one but I have not read it. The only problem I had with the book was in the beginning I was a little confused about some of the heroines family members but it really wasn't important to the story.
Rina is afraid to take risks and she meets the ultimate risk taker Cash, a surfer she wants to use in a documentary she is making. He refuses and they clash. Weeks later she is filming a documentary on Navy SEALS and Cash happens to be one of them. This is a great story about overcoming your fears and going after what you want.

Risking It All...Stimulating Undertaking!,

Readers have to be insane if they have not read any hot, alpha-male undercover Navy SEAL, Special Ops fictional novel, because this is one risk worth plummeting into. Deliciously desirable read!
The story opens with Cash, an undercover Navy SEAL, on a remote island surfing as a cover up for an undercover assignment (to snag major drug smugglers). While catching some waves, an extreme sports documentary filming crew captures Cash's surfacing performances. Problems occur, when the photographer overlooked getting a release form signed from Cash to use him in their video. Outraged at the oversight, Rina, a filmmaker who is trying to get a grant for a film making excursion to Africa, must now intercede and get Cash's signature. Unbeknownst to both, upon their first acquaintance, Cash and Rina will have an undeniable attraction for each other, but they will both be so wrapped up in bantering and irritating one another (because Rina is persistent and Cash will not sign the release) that they will eventually part their separate ways agitated. It will not be long before they are once again united at the local establishment where Rina gets tipsy and Cash will eventually escort her back to her room, which will move them closer together for a one-night of body slammin'. Cash is only doing this in order that he can gather up all of Rina's filming of him; after all, he is an undercover agent that can't be identified. During the night while Rina is sleeping, he receives an assignment that will make him abandoned Rina's bed, never to be seen again...so he thinks. Weeks go by, Rina's at home with no hopes of getting the grant; her film has been stolen. After talking with her Aunt, they have come up with an idea for Rina to do a documentary film that may get her that grant, which will entail the day-in-the-life of a Navy SEAL. Rina's aunt is married to the commander-in-charge of the Navy SEALs, Uncle Mac; and you guessed it, Mac is Cash's superior officer. This is truly where the adventure begins. Rina shows up at Navy SEAL headquarters under Uncle Mac's wing and there sits Cash. Neither Cash nor Rina knew about each other or who they were...so they were both shocked. Cash is ordered by his commander to comply with Rina's filming requests and oblige her with whatever she needs. Because they must work closely together for two weeks, this will initiate the beginning of the most sensuous, steamy association the two will ever encounter! Hot sexual attraction, coupled with most erogenous love-making and you've got one stimulating story. You will literally have to take a cold shower after this read. Extremely arousing! Highly recommend!

This is a well-written and HOT book. I eagerly look forward to Stephanie Tyler's upcoming books, and think she will prove to be a break-out/best-selling writer-a la Nora Roberts. You heard it here first!

Navy SEAL excitement and romance!,

This review is from: Risking It All (Harlequin Blaze) (Mass Market Paperback)
She thinks he's an adrenaline junkie, a risk-taking surfer, but he's really an undercover Navy SEAL. When he is assigned to be her escort for several days, it doesn't take long before sparks are flying.
When Rina Calhoun sees footage of surfer John "Cash" Cashman, she knows it is perfect for her extreme sports documentary. Trouble is, the photographer neglected to have Cash sign a release form, without which the film is useless. Rina's entire career depends on this documentary and there's not much she won't do to make it legit. It isn't long before the two share a heated night together, but Cash was gone when Rina woke in the morning. Rina went on to her next assignment and couldn't be more surprised when she's sent to film a documentary for the Navy and Cash is assigned to be her escort around the base. None of the SEAL team is overly cooperative with Rina, insisting on total anonymity for all of them. Cash never dreamed he would have the feelings for Rina that he did, but they were there staring him in the face and he would just have to deal with them. Cash soon discovers that there are painful issues from his past he must come to terms with before he can consider a future with Rina. Rina and Cash are perfect for each other, something that readers will realize long before Rina and Cash, guaranteeing a fun ride. Stephanie Tyler has written a touching romance with spark and sizzle that is easy to recommend. Ms. Tyler's previous Blaze, COMING UNDONE, first introduced Cash and made readers want his story to be told; his story was well worth the wait. COURTESY LAURIE/ROMANCE JUNKIES

Felt disappointed....,
This review is from: Risking It All (Harlequin Blaze) (Mass Market Paperback)
The reviews certainly didn't live up to this book. Felt disappointed and it was kinda boring and there weren't strong dialogue to really make me like the characters. Like any book there were some good and bad points but the bad outweighed the good. And not to mention their problems get solve rather quickly before it even starts. Although there were many hot scenes it didn't translate to chemistry.
