Waiting on her big break in the world of television journalism, Ciara Miller takes all the grunt assignments tossed her way by station manager, Shannon Wright. Born with a silver spoon in his mouth, the majestic lawyer, Jonathan Butler has been raised from day one to be in politics. Wanting and seeking a much needed break from the everyday grind of the news room, court room, cameras, and politics, Jonathan and Ciara cross paths over a pool table, a cold Corona, and a Whisky sour.

Due to their individual professions, the bond of friendship they garner is threatened at every turn. Naysayers, enemies, and family unite to destroy Jonathan and Ciara personally and professionally. It is going to take all the mud slinging, television commercials, and political savvy they both know to survive the risky business of hate.

Who can be trusted, whom do you talk to, where do you turn, and how do you survive without destroying the world around you? In RISKY BUSINESS FOR LOVE, Yahrah St. John pits right against wrong, television against politics, pride against trust and truth against friendship. "Politics Make Strange Bed Fellows".

This review is from: Risky Business Of Love (Kimani Romance) (Mass Market Paperback)
This was a great story from the beginning to the end. Reporter Ciara didn'e believe in love because of the things that she went through with her Mother but falls in love despite her belief that love only causes pain. Well, she did feel the pain when she falls in love with up and coming political candidate Jonathan Butler and he accuses her of ruining his chances for the sake of her job. The truth comes out when the people behind the lies with different agendas are revealed and you will have to read the story to find out how it all ends. Politics is a dirty game and this story reveals it all.
