there is a sword in the cane...was not expecting that, but fun surprise. Works well. Not sure if it works as a sword, but didn't buy it to be one so thats ok probably.

The wolf head on the cane is cast metal, coated by a slightly (very very slightly) golden sheath. I've had this thing fall and it scraped it off. The cane tube is just a regular old pipe, but painted. You can see a little bit of corrosion, but hell, it's not that expensive. The blade inside is not sharp at all, neither is it all too sturdy. I've already had to epoxy glue the blade to the wolf head. All in all, it's an alright cane. It feels a bit short and the wolf head isn't exactly the most comfortable to hold, but it isn't unbearable. I'd give this thing five stars if it were maybe an inch or two taller and had a stiffer blade.

This was a surprising well made cane for the price. Yes, it has a blade inside but in order to make it more useful in different places, it was better for me to cut it off and weight the other end of the cane for balance.
