5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent cordless lights!
These are excellent lights for places where you can't readily install a powered light fixture, or for emergency preparations (in the car, with your home emergency supplies, for power outages, etc.). Each light is powered with three AAA batteries, and have five LED bulbs inside. The front cover is such that the light is evenly distributed, not as five individual light...

3.0 out of 5 stars LED Puck lights
This is 3-pack of lights - each puck light has 5 lights operated by 3 AAA batteries. I'm not crazy about the bluish tinge that LED lights produce, but that is not a reflection of this product - it is an LED product. These come with 2 ways to hand them - by screw or sticky backing, both work well. They turn on and off with a push of the dome and dim once as well. These...

These are excellent lights for places where you can't readily install a powered light fixture, or for emergency preparations (in the car, with your home emergency supplies, for power outages, etc.). Each light is powered with three AAA batteries, and have five LED bulbs inside. The front cover is such that the light is evenly distributed, not as five individual light dots. The battery life on LED lights are far superior to the halogen light bulbs. I'm using 1.2V NiMH rechargeable AAA batteries and they work just fine (one word of advice: If you do decide to use rechargeable batteries, go for the Sanyo Eneloop batteries that hold their charges for a long, long time--the Eneloops are supposed to hold 85% of their charges after 1 year in storage; most NiMH batteries lose their charge in weeks).

Highly recommended!

I'm not crazy about the bluish tinge that LED lights produce, but that is not a reflection of this product - it is an LED product. These come with 2 ways to hand them - by screw or sticky backing, both work well. They turn on and off with a push of the dome and dim once as well. These lights are easy to use and very handy if you need some light in a dark space. I would not recommend them for mood lighting in bookshelves or under cabinets - simply because of the bluish light.

5.0 out of 5 stars Terrific!, October 6, 2007
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
We live in Miami and are plagued with power outages related to bad weather and hurricanes. These lights are great and make my son feel secure that if the power does go out, he can always have an emergency light in every room. We also have used these to illuminate areas during hurricane related outages so that our pets, who are quite old, can find their way around the house. I first got these at Costco right after Hurricane Wilma (no power for 8 days....) and continue to stock up on them. They are definitely worth the price.

4.0 out of 5 stars no plug light works!, September 22, 2007
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
These lights work well- they arent as bright as a 'normal' closet light might be, but I put three in my coat closet where there is no light and it works well. I have one closer to the floor so we can see what is there and what is behind the coats (we have shelves back there).
You can angle the light to shine in the direction you prefer. This was a good choice.

5.0 out of 5 stars I use these lights everywhere!, June 26, 2007
These lights are so versatile! I originally bought them to stick in my son's toy chest. Let me tell you...I actually bought three more 3 packs! I have them in my closets, under the cabinet on a desk in the computer room & my husband even put two in the basement near his workshop. We love them!

4.0 out of 5 stars Better than most battery lights, October 18, 2007
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
These battery operated lights give brighter light than others I've tried. They are simple to install with the velcro backing and can be moved easily if needed. EL

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent product, March 23, 2008
These lights work very well. They output plenty of light. I used it to light up an entrance to a room where the light switch is across the room. Works great. They're great for caninets, pantries, closets etc. They install in about 30 seconds and are easy to operate. They swivel for aiming and there is one dimmer setting. I highly recommend them.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not very powerful, October 16, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I thought 5 LED lights would be enough under the counter top and in a closet, especially using all three pucks. It's not. They aren't very powerful and the adhesive won't stick on wood or paint. Unfortunate.

4.0 out of 5 stars Inexpensive Ambience, January 13, 2008
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Doesn't provide enough light to be useful...better used to provide low-lighting to add ambience to a room. Batteries seem to last quite awhile. Good price though for whatever use.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent solution for dark closets, February 15, 2007
This light provides bright light for closets. I put three on the underside of my closet shelf and can now easily distinguish between black and navy and can find things easily. The only disadvantage is that you have to be sure to turn them off when you are through using them.
