Just spent 2 hours running these through crawlspaces. Plugged in the headphones and it's static city. I broke the white line pulling it through the wall and it's clearly not shielded. Internally, there's copper wire, copper wire in a white plastic insulator and black plastic around the whole thing. If it was shielded there's be foil around the conductors.

The product title doesn't say anything about shielding, but the description mentions it twice. Not only got a substandard product, I've wasted 2 hours of my time. RiteAV is an the avoid list.

The picture and sound are mediocre at best. But when you pay $11 for a 50ft wire, what do you expect?

I bought this so that I could connect my computer in one room to the tv in another for watching movies, but I think its too far. I got some serious visual fuzz and poor quality audio, so I think the cable might just be too long and is picking up noise along the way. Could be other factors, but I would try sticking with a shorter one. I've used ~6ft cables like this with no problem. Aside from my troubles, I think the build quality is great.

I use this cable to connect a projector to my A/V system, which is about 30ft away (when following the baseboards behind the couch).

For the first few months it was fine, and I've never moved the cable or had to pull it through anything, but its producing very bad quality now.

At first I thought the projector was crappin out, but when I retested with a different cable (tiny, thin looking one that came with an old dvd, or digital camera or something), the picture was really sharp, no scanning lines, it was perfect.

Very disappointed that the cable didn't last, they seemed thick and shielded.

Update: THis thing totally sucks. Its not shielded at all, my kids were freaking out while I was trying to cook dinner for them, because the tv looked so horrible. I said "I'll take a look in a sec. I'm warming up your food..." and as soon as the microwave stopped the picture was back to normal. We did an 'experiment' and turned the microwave on and off a few times, proving that they were not shielded. Really annoying.

Heavy duty and long enough that i will never need another cable again!

Needed an extra long cable to hook up to my new home theater system. could not find this length at Target or Home Depot. Ordered it from Amazon and got it th next day, all for like $14 total. Cheaper than any store.

I bought two of these and joined them together with a couple of RCA union connectors. I'm using this to connect a cable box from a second story bedroom to a tv in the basement. Works great. Very high quality cable for the money.

Hard to find long ables at a good price. Good to use for DVD/VCR hook-ups.

The product was exactly as described and packaged very well. I was extremely surprised when it showed up 3 days earlier than expected. I definintely recommend this item.

Bought this for a friend to use his laptop to watch TV. I hooked it up to mine to try it out. Worked just fine. Same picture quality as my 6 ft cable. Great price, too.
