Packaging is not important to me. This cable appears to be very good quality.
I installed this cable and ran multiple cable diagnostic tests.
Rated perfect on all tests. I will be purchasing more of these cables in the future.

Super price, good cable, fast shipping, what more needs to be said? The connectors are fine regardless of other reviews and the quality of the cable is superior or at least equal to any ethernet cable you will ever get packaged with a high-end router or modem. I highly recommend. Don't even think twice, this is the one.

Most of the cat5e cables that have failed on me were the silly latches getting broken off. Now I always try to get the cables with the nice anti-snag boots. Works fine and lasts a long time.

The cable wire is stamped as CAT6 but the connectors on each end are CAT5. CAT6 connectors have staggered pins. My router defaults to 100Mbs. I replaced it with a true Cat6 cable and it switches to 1Gbs.

I bought this to run from our router to the new Roku Box. I bought this based on reviews and price. I refuse to pay the outrageous prices at the local stores. This cable works perfectly and seems to be made of quality materials.

I have my cable modem located in one of my bedrooms that I use as an office, and my XBox 360 is located in my master bedroom. I am not a fan of wireless ethernet due to muliple problems and pricing, so I decided to simply run an ethernet wire through my attic from my router located in my office. It works perfectly, and I haven't noticed any speed issues. The funny thing is that I needed EXACTLY 50 feet to make the wire reach to my other room. Three inches shorter and this wire would have been too short for my needs :P

this cable works as advertised, however it is very cheap looking, the outside wrapping is winkled and doesn't look professional at all. 1GBPs speed is no problem however. If i'd have to choose a cable next time, I'd be going with flat ones instead of rounded cat6.

I ordered three different lengths of this cable (25, 50, 200 ft). Each had the same problem. At one end was a low end D-Link (100Mbs) switch, at the other end a PC (100Mbs). I plugged in a homemade 300ft Ethernet cable, everything worked fine. I plugged in this cable (all three versions over time), and I got no connectivity or very poor connectivity (very poor transfer rates).

I then changed the configuration so that instead of a switch I plugged into a Netgear router. Now all three RiteAV cables worked fine. My guess is that the D-Link switch did not generate a lot of power. The low power in combination with poor RiteAV cable quality led to the poor results.

Certainly these cables are cheap, but its not worth it if they are not reliable. I spent several hours figuring all this out, any money I saved was wasted 100 times over.
