Unlike another, much more expensive optical cable I recently bought, this one actually plugs all the way in, clicks, and stays put in both my satellite box and my A/V receiver. The quality seems good. End caps/dust covers are provided and are attached to the cable so they cannot be lost. Makes a nice solid connection that will not fall out like some other cables, regardless of price. Don't let the low price scare you off!

I did not receive the pictured optical cable. I received a thin, stiff, plastic-y cable without loops to keep the endcaps in place. I've purchased Toslink cables before that were thicker and much more flexible. However, this one does "click" in place very well, and it gets the job done. Where I'm using it, a more flexible cable isn't really necessary.

I don't blame the seller for this discrepancy. I work for a company that sells on Amazon, we've run into this sort of issue before. I think it's great that Amazon tries to make things more organized by trying to make one listing per product, even when it's being sold by multiple sellers, but they don't always get it right. My seller probably submitted a different picture and description, which Amazon overrode.

The 6ft cable is extremely thin, not at all like the image suggests. Truly, the cable is like as thin as a toothpick, if that. There is no protection for the optical line. So, although this is a functional cable, it will very easily get damaged over time unless you hook it up and never touch it again.

This Toslink Cable works just as advertised and after using it for about one month, I have not experienced any problems.

I used this Cable to connect my Panasonic speaker to my TV. For this use, it is great and is also reasonably priced.

the cable worked just fine. i'd recommend it if you're looking for just a cheap, simple cable that works. it is still working now. don't waste your time and money on expensive cables.

I bought these cables from RiteBrew about 10 months ago and they still work perfectly. They're exactly like they are in the picture with the connected end caps and the fairly durable cables.

Have been using this for months so far and it's worked perfectly fine, make sure to get an adapter if using this on a laptop.

I was having trouble finding a digital optical toslink cable that could connect solidly to my components. This one does the job nicely at a nice price too.

Fast shipping, item works, but not well :( cable and ends are very cheaply made, and don't have enough weight to them to stay connected properly. oh well.

I needed a TosLink cable for my soundbar, I recommend against buying this one. The inputs are too small and short and do not fit into the hole. It is not deep enough to even register that it is connected!! plus it falls right out. I don't know who designed this, but it is very flawed. Returning is a huge hassle too, first off, they charge 15% - 20% restocking fee if the package was opened. I had to open it to see it doesn't work. They also don't pay for return shipping. They also mention prorating the refund. Bad customer service when their products are defectively designed. I guess I'm out $3. not worth my time to return, all I can do is advise against.
