I have a 15 ft HDMI cable running in wall from DVD player to TV. I would occasionally get a second of signal loss or a white flash on the screen. The good news is it solved my issues.
The Bad - * I ordered from the lowest cost supplier. Their first delivery was not an equalizer. It was only a $2 HDMI to HDMI connector. Explains why a lot of people do not have good luck with the equalizers on amazon. The supplier said it was a mistake and promptly sent the right equalizer. If it does not have a source and sink end on the device, you did not get an equalizer. * No directions were sent with the device. People may not know that the equalizer works best when it is at the end of the cable, closest to the TV as possible. Also, the device needs to be hooked in the right direction. The "sink" should be the cable towards the TV. The "source" should be towards the DVD or cable box.

I was having trouble with underpowered video output from a computer running over a 60ft. HDMI cable. Inserting this product on the computer end of the HDMI cable produced a solid signal.

I bought this item to attempt getting 1080p signal out of a cheap 100ft hdmi cable that I bought. The cable would send a 1080i signal, but when I would try to send 1080p through the cable I would get no signal. I received this item today, and I am now able to get a 1080p signal from all of the devices I have tried it with(PC and Xbox 360).

Add this unit to a 50 ft run for HDMI for HD 1080p projector in home theater. It did not improve the quality of the video at all. Ended up buying a gold plated hdmi t-adapter for my projector. I think it was my hdmi cable, end was not making good contact with the projector input. Once i added the hdmi gold plated t-adapter, all my signal issues went away.

I have a decent quality 50ft HDMI cable that I was running from my PC to my HDTV. I couldn't get a clear signal in 1080p on the television with the cable of this length; but, I was able to get a good 720p signal with the cable. I bought this equalizer hoping it could solve my problems and get me a 1080p picture and it did not help. The picture quality was the same and I saw no improvement nor did I see it get any worse. I finally just gave up and am sticking with viewing my PC output on my TV at 720p and quite honestly it's met my needs enough.
