It fundamentally works just enough if you are in a pinch (which is why I even gave it 2 stars), however the sound quality transfer over this is complete crap. I have cheaper couplers that have better sound than this by a long shot. Sound becomes tinny and noisy when I use this anywhere in the line. I tried running just one thing through it to the same effect, tinny and awful. Its not just me being picky either, even a deaf person could hear the noise, its very, VERY noticeable. I would suspect its because of the use of very thin aluminum wires, the wires on this are particularly thin in comparison to my other cables. However, that is purely speculation, I don't know what it is necessarily made of. I would return it, but to be honest, its not worth the effort of sending it back. They got my money then as it turns out, but don't let them get yours.

I haven't done any testing to ensure that I wasn't losing any video quality, but it doesn't seem like I have. Also, I'm not a total AV expert, so I was happily surprised to find that I could connect a video signal across the two female jacks. Maybe this should've been obvious, but it wasn't intuitive to me.

Does exactly what I need. Splits my audio from my camera from mono to stereo. Make sure you get the right one, this one is for male to female. Awesome price.

Bought this as a splitter for my sub output on my car's stereo and it does it's job. No loss in sound quality!

I bought this because I needed a splitter to split the signal for my subwoofer so that I could add a second subwoofer to the rear. This worked great. I highly recommend seller.

What else is there to say? It works perfectly, there is no loss in quality and it shipped about 2 days. Love RiteAV and i will continue to buy their products.

It does what it is supposed to and is cheap to boot. How can you not like it?

I used this splitter to be able to put sound through both of my speakers from an old school Nintendo Entertainment System. It works just fine.

Bought this to split a sub out on my car stereo and it worked. Not much more to say. Can't beat the price with free shipping with prime.
