I bought these lights to hang on the wall by my bed for nighttime reading. The construction is very cheap and chincy, but more importantly: the batteries wore out quickly, and as they were drained, the light became too weak to read by. So I replaced the batteries with lithiums, hoping they would last longer. They did, but not by much.

Not to mention that it is a pain to have to remove the assembly from the wall to replace the batteries.

It works if you just need a little light to see your way around the room, but not for reading or seeing clearly. Even at max charge, the light isn't very bright.

It looks ok from afar, but this item is not chrome, it is plastic. It does not give off enough light to accent anything. I don't know if the ones I got are defective or what, but there is no way I could read or even attempt to apply make-up with the inadequate and inconsistent illumination these lights provide. They are also not "EZ" to hang and the included hardware is too small. They are a hassle and not worth the money!

I purchased the rite light for decorating purposes, but to my surprise they really give off a lot of light , great for puting on makeup; and not to meantion they r battery operated so if the power goes off i will still have lights.
