Working with a natural pulling action, these hoes easily weed, cultivate and aerate the soil. Leaves most of the soil behind - no more "chopping". Easy to manoeuvre, Circle Hoes are fantastic for hoeing around leafy crops, tight plantings and irrigation systems. The narrow blade allows you to place the hoe right next to your plant and the circular shape avoids damage to roots. The head is made of an open circle of forged carbon steel and the bottom inner lip of this is sharpened. The handle is made of ash.

I have found this hoe very useful for removing weeds in tight beds. I don't have to constantly bend down to do an important task. It's very helpful for weeding around roses or removing thistle from my shrubs.

I've had my circlehoe for 5 years and I can't imagine weeding without it! It's very easy to use and you'll find that it makes weeding less of a chore.

I've been using a Hennington circle hoe for five years, and I liked it so much I bought one for my elderly mother. The sharp edge gets stubborn rye grass and other stubborn grass roots near the roots. The circle feature shields the plant above the root while the sharp circle bottom attacks the weeds below around the edges of the root system. I'm purchasing one of these for a friend and hope it's as good as the Hennington, which cost double this price.
