Are you kidding me? Ritual AND Walkers together? Get this now!, November 6, 2011
This review is from: Ritual and Walkers (Paperback)
Walkers is one of my favorite of the 20 or so Graham Masterton novels I've read. It's got legitimate chills from the get go, with a haunted sanitarium storyline loaded with creativity. It gets a bit crazy towards the end, but finishes with a memorable, poignant climax you won't soon forget.
I just finished Ritual, which is one of Masterton's least supernatural novels and most likely the best cannibalism themed horror novel ever. The first and last third of the novel are near perfection, with a minor lag in the middle and a questionable love interest the only things that keep this from being one of the best horror novels ever written. Two scenes in particular I will never forget. Both novels rate 4 1/2 stars out of 5 from me, but since I can't award 9 stars, I'm stuck with 5. Order yourself a nice used copy and enjoy.
