5.0 out of 5 stars Gilmore with an 'e' NOT PINK FLOYD, July 8, 2003

I didn't buy it yet, but some of the reviewers and definitely the store - has it all wrong. David Gilmore with an 'E' has nothing to do with David Gilmour of Pink Floyd, other than they both play the guitar. Give the guy a break. David - love your solo on Christian's Aja. Will purchase this, sight unseen.

So really, Amazon should take our advice and take a good job of making these two musician distinct on their search engine.

But so what? is it a good reason to punish him with just one star?
So here comes jdmusicLover at the rescue of the poor to put some balance. (I would have given just for stars otherwise, because I don't like every song on this CD)

In fact I came on this album by searching about Rick Wright...
I'm a pink floyd fan, but I've also seen David Gilmore (the here jazz guitarist) on stage at a Trilok Gurtu concert and found he is certainly an extraordinary musician.

By listening to the samples, number 8 Wanderer is my prefered...
A very original album, with much feeling and swing.
Don't know if I'm going to buy this CD... I might... because apart of Pink Floyd I'm also into prog rock, classical influences, and modern jazz.

But certainly not an ideal album for the average Pink Floyd fan.
