5.0 out of 5 stars Great product, costly shipping
I was expecting regular low quality kitchen towels, but I am VERY impressed. They go perfectly with my all white kitchen, and I absolutely love how they feel, the cotton is very soft. I was a little upset that the shipping was so expensive, but it didn't seem that bad once I got the towels into my hands.. I've never been so impressed with kitchen towels before!

3.0 out of 5 stars Good size, decent absorbtion, a little fragile.
Just got these towels in the mail and my first impression is that they are very thin. The size (length x width) is appropriate for kitchen towels. The designs and textures are very nice. They seem to absorb liquid reasonably well, however they are very thin compared to other kitchen towels I've had. Perhaps this isn't such a bad thing, just feels like more of an...

Just got these towels in the mail and my first impression is that they are very thin. The size (length x width) is appropriate for kitchen towels. The designs and textures are very nice. They seem to absorb liquid reasonably well, however they are very thin compared to other kitchen towels I've had. Perhaps this isn't such a bad thing, just feels like more of an aesthetic or decorative piece than functional. Still for $15, they are a nice set of towels that balance function and form.

UPDATE. 4 of the 5 towels are still holding up pretty well, although they seem to want to get ruffled after a few washes. The border seam on one completely came apart and is all frayed. I'd say they are pretty good looking towels, but there are certainly more robust towels out there.

A beautiful set of towels, I like the patterns they come in (I got the red fruit, it's lovely!). The material is really soft but it still feels like a kitchen towel. I was happy to be able to get nice towels at this price.

5.0 out of 5 stars Ritz Towel Set, September 3, 2009
I can't believe that I am writing a review of a dish towel, but here it goes. These are the best dish towels that I have ever used. I had originally purchased a set on sale at a military PX several years ago and was very pleased with them. It wasn't until I had tried to replace a few that I came to appreciate their quality. Over the last several months I have tried numerous towels purchased from local stores and NONE have done a decent job I was so glad when I found these on Amazon

I use about 3 kitchen towels every day. Most towels are not soft enough or absorbent. These towels are great soft and absorbent. There are five towels one is not so great it is stiff. I order these towels and loved them so much I ordered another set. If you are a cook and are in the kitchen a lot, these are for you.

Although a bit pricey they were still worth the 5 star rating. No linting onto glassware, soak up water well and look very classy in your kitchen

I was hoping for a soft and absorbant towel - one that comes out of the dryer without too many wrinkles. This towel did not deliver any of my hopes.
Would not buy again.

5.0 out of 5 stars 5 years in use and still going, August 9, 2010

I have had a set of these towels for 5 years. I received them as a gift. I am buying more due to a change in kitchen decor--but the others are still going strong after all this time, and have kept their color (black) through many many washings. They look almost new. The stitching has never unraveled, and they do a great job drying dishes. You do need to remove them promptly from the dryer and fold them promptly to avoid wrinkles, as you would with any good all cotton product. It's a fact of life---cotton wrinkles!

Besides being attractive towels, these are pure quality. I have never had a kitchen towel last this long, let alone keep it's color. I can't wait to get my red ones!

I always look at reviews on a product prior to purchase. These towels received high ratings, with a couple of negatives regarding quality. I am well pleased with the quality and useability of these towels. As promised, they are absorbent and leave your glasses and dishes sparkling. And, after the initial washing, in cold water with no softener, they came out of the dryer in great shape. If I had one negative comment, there is one solid color towel of the 5 which seemed to shrink a little upon washing.

Overall, these are well worth the money. I love them and would recommend them to anyone who appreciates quality and great results!
