WTF?,
This review is from: Ritz Power Shift MS-001 --- 2006 Best Car Goods Of The Year Awards in Environment Protection and Fuel Conservation Field. It increases engine power & fuel efficiency while reducing car emissions. Just plug it in a lighter socket of a car. That's the complete installation. The World First Eco-friendly Power-up Product. The tiny does a big job.
Hi, if you actually buy this product thinking it will do as described, you are mentally retarded.

Just thought it is a little suspicious that all of the 5 star reviews have come from people who have only reviewed this product. That fact combined with the ludicrous claims of this product leads me to believe they are all plants!

I drive a Chevrolet Spark. The Spark has a 1.4 engine, and is not the fastest or most powerful car around. I installed the Ritz Power Shift (by plugging it into the cigarette lighter's power socket) as I felt that it could do no harm, even if it did nothing good. This was at about 9am in the morning (yesterday), and I was on my way to work.
At first, there seemed to be no change. I was a little disappointed as it is marketed as the World First Eco-friendly Power-up product, but I really didn't experience any power change. I got to work, and returned to my car that evening. I turned on my car, drove slowly through the parkade and drove onto the free-way. I put my foot on the gas and was thrown back in my seat as my car lurched forward with a HUGE acceleration. It was astounding! I didn't lift my foot from the gas, and my speed increased until my speedo needle was maxed - it could go no further. And I could still feel my car accelerating. The best part was that the rev counter didn't raise above 3000 rpm - meaning that I was travelling at impossible speed and not using more gas than normal. I got home in record time, parked my car and popped the hood. I saw that no longer was the engine a 1.4, but in clear lettering the engine now read 3.2 litres. THE RITZ POWER SHIFT HAD COMPLETELY EVOLVED MY ENGINE! I was utterly dumbfounded. I went to bed that night, very excited to drive my car again the next morning. I woke up today, ate breakfast, got dressed and then almost ran outside to my car. I popped the hood again to see if there had been any more evolution to my car. And there had been! A new turbo charger was somehow crammed in next to the engine. It had even taken the shape of the available space. I drove my car to work - it was going even faster than the previous evening! After work, I returned to my car and nearly fell over with surprise. During the day, my hub-capped wheels had evolved into mag-wheels and had gone from 14" to 17", the tyres were now low profile, a rear fin-spoiler had sprouted above the trunk, and front, side and rear bumper spoilers had grown almost touching the ground. The suspension was dropped at least 5 inches. I got into my car and noticed that the radio/tape-deck was now a full in-car dvd system, the cotton-material seats were now leather covered bucket seats, and I now had paddle-shift gears on my steering wheel. The dash displays seemed to be absent completely until I turned on my ignition. Then my lower wind-shield lit up as a holographic dash-panel appeared. Everything was displayed there in a greenish tinted light - speedo, rev counter, fuel gauge, temperature, tyre pressure, oil pressure, turbo rpm counter and heaps more. I drove home at unimaginable speeds - my old Chev Spark was almost taking off at speeds of 200mph. As I type this now, I can't wait to see what my car looks like tomorrow! I have no idea whether I will even be able to sleep I'm so excited. Go out and buy your Ritz Power Shift today, you will not be sorry!

I'll admit that I was initially skeptical about the claims being made about this product. Let's face it: so many things that can plug into your cigarette lighter socket say that they'll make your automotive dreams come true, but only serve to shatter those dreams in the long run. There was even a popular song by the group Johnny Hates Jazz called 'Shattered Dreams', and I suspect it was written in relation to these devices.
BUT! This is not one of those devices. Oh, no. Not by a long shot. I drive a 1986 Subaru Brat. This is not a powerful vehicle by any means: with a stunning 73bhp at its disposal, it is often embarrassed at stoplight dragraces by such performance machines as the Chevy Aveo, Kia Rio, and Renault LeCar. Believe me when I say that I have to pick my battles *very* carefully when I pull up to the line; there just aren't that many air-cooled Volkswagens with holed pistons still driving, so my chances of victory are usually slim. Upon initial installation of the product (easily achieved in just nine hours and only requiring a set of Whitworth wrenches, ball joint tool, wheel alignment rig, and a pneumatic hammer), my 73 screaming squirrels of fury gradually came to greater life than I had ever experienced before. After a short drive to warm up the engine, I began to suspect that this device had been introducing a steady diet of amphetamines into their water supply. Anxious to not overtax them to the point of causing their tiny little hearts to explode, I gradually explored the power increases now - unbelievably - at my disposal. All that I discovered was that the power just kept coming. Then came a sound that I mistook for impending doom: a whistling noise the likes of which normally only came from my dry-rotted window seals, but not quite the same in pitch or timbre. Fearful of the worst, I immediately pulled to the side of the road and opened the hood. Much to my surprise, this was not the mechanical malady I had been fearing. No, it was... Something stunning. The EA81 engine that had been installed for the vehicle's entire life had transformed into the fearsome EJ25 turbo engine from the Impreza STi! Amazingly, the drivetrain was so incredibly well-engineered on the Brat that it was entirely capable of receiving all 300bhp that the STi engine was capable of laying down through my P-rated 185/65R13 Pep Boys all-season tyres. Every morning I wake up and anxiously run to the window to see what other transformations have occurred to my vehicle courtesy of this miracle device. Yesterday I found that it had sprouted wings and could outrun an F-16, which has really cut down on my commute times, let me tell you. This morning the entire Playboy Mansion was found in the bed, complete with bunnies and an open bar. It just keeps getting better and better!

Immediately upon inserting the device into the cigarette adapter, 3 scantly-clad supermodels appeared around my car... making out. They immediately noticed the Ritz and HAD to be in my car... to make out. The Ritz added a wonderful lesbian ambiance to my car. And I drive a Ford Festiva. And now it's pushing 300 hp and 400 MPG. I refuel less often than electric cars. And they're electric. I have noticed one side-effect of the Ritzs. There's now stains all over the inside of my car that I have to clean regularly. Not sure where they come from.

I own a 2003 Acura RSX-S which I've driven for almost 5 years now. I've already done some basic modds on my car and have kept it this way for some time already. Mostly suspension work, Intake and a Cat Back Exhaust.
My first notice in change of performance from the Ritz Power Shift was the sound. On a cold start the engine exhaust note is a bit deeper and more directional (tighter sound). The second thing that I noticed was the slight increase in the low end torque delivery and less engine vibrations. Which when you drive for a longer duration of time will be a direct result of a smoother gear shifts and clutch engagement as the engine flops around less when the clutch is depressed. Overall to sum up what the performance feels like: It feels like the engine's had a chance to warm up, and the air that the engine pulls in is consistantly cold. So power delivery feels more solid with less lagg from the computer control of air and fuel mixture.

I noticed improved acceleration when I foot on pedal lightly,
my car is running without hesitation. I think audio sound is same as before. Not big difference. The gas mileage is much better with it. It increased about 10% up on the freeway. The motor of my car burns oil and white smoke coming out from the back when I start engine in the morning. It disappears totally, I can't believe it! It's a great device. I recommend it strongly to buy one. |
