I've used this machine for over a year since I bought it from another online retailer. And I can tell you that it has stayed as smooth as in the beginning. I use it 3 times a week for making coconut and lemon sherbets. The taste and texture achieved remind me of a very old ice cream parlor located in my home country, Dominican Republic,called 'Imperiales'. Although it delighted many generations, it closed like 8 years ago. So, as you can see, it's kind of a nostalgic remembrance for me !
