this is a wonderful CD of traditional Irish music by a very talented musician! Both the instrumentals and the vocals are wonderful - I wish he would make another CD!

Mark is a great celtic wooden flutist, a wonderful singer and fine on several other different instruments. Many great musicians from the DC/Baltimore area play on this record of traditional dance Irish/ Scottish/British tunes and songs. You will play this CD over and over!!! Why not 5 stars? I usually would save 5 stars for albums that knock me off my chair. This is a traditional tasteful collection meant to satisfy over the long haul. Sometimes the 4 star collections get more time in the CD player than the 5 star ones...

This is a great CD! It's an excellent mix of fast and slow, songs and tunes. It is great to listen to and it's great to have on in the background for a subconscious emotional lift. I sing along; I tap my fingers and feet. Occasionally, I dance. My boyfriend, my roommate, my roommate's boyfriend can all agree to have it on in the house. My eclectic and multiethnic officemates all seem to like it, too. It's just good Irish music.
