This roaster is very versatile because you can cook in it or keep food nice and hot when serving. You can indeed roast a turkey, it's great at keeping 3 items hot (ie stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy). I just used it to cook corned beef, potatoes, carrots and cabbage. The meat is moist and tender.

Used Thanksgiving for the first time. Turkey was moist and delicious. Only thing was the breast skin did not get nice and brown.

Received in a decent amount of time. The edges of the roaster was peeling/paint cracking (looked like I had it for a year already). The roaster is flimsy; not the quality I expected. I know someone who has one by the same manufacturer and theirs is a better quality. I guess like anything else, Rival started making the roaster out of sub-quality product. It does work though and I like having the bonus buffet server. I decided to keep it since it did work.

The roaster was ordered for our church for cooking beans for public suppers. It also is used to keep sauces, vegetables, and soup warm. The new roaster replaces the one that finally burned out after several years of heavy use.
