I bought this crock pot on a whim, last minute because it came with the mini pot that (I wanted for my living room as a fragrance difuser). Anyway-- this is great comes with low and high cooking a variety of hours and the warm selection is perfect for nacho cheese and on game day that little "warm choice" in itself has more than paid for itself. I can make chicken soup and it stays warm on rainy days-- and if you like spiced cider, it keeps it at perfect temp, so that if you add more for additonal guests, the temp is quick to warm up and blend the flavors.
It makes the best crock pot chocolate cake ever, beef dip sandwiches are a cinch!, green chili chicken casserole, spagheti sauce, chili, I mean I have even cooked game hens that were delightful. If your single buy this-- believe me-- on a rainy day or after a long day at work nothing better then walking in the door after dealing with commute and smelling your dinner waiting for you. Men-- I suggest you buy "man, can plan" cookbook if your not all that jazzy in the kitchen, it will impress a date with the (fact you can cook and in a crock pot too) --cuz not every night is happy hour and sometimes it is nice to have a ice cold beer and a home cooked meal that is all in one pot. SO anywayits easy to wash, insert and lid are dishwasher safe, easy to use I give it a 5 star rating.

I purchased this Crock Pot 3 years ago and when I put london broil anywhere from 3 to 5 pounds it takes at minimum 12 hours till the meat falls apart. My last crock pot did this in a matter of 8 hours. Looking for another one.

Lid handle keeps coming off the lid. I have super glued it for the last time... replacement parts at crockpot.com have shown out of stock for too long. BAH!
