Not a bad wok, and it fit me as a college kid. Sure enough, after a week the non-stick coating bubbled up and looks nasty, but it's all aesthetics. The temperature dial is handy, but it really only has two internal settings ('off' and 'fry'). If you use it to steam, it switches on - boils - then switches off when it reaches the temperature. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat.

It's nothing fancy, but it does a good job.

I received this wok as a wedding present and we've used it more than any of our other appliances. It's easy to assemble, it cooks evenly and quick, and it's easy to clean up. Not only do we cook stirfry in it, but we use it with the bamboo steamers for vegetables and it's great for fried chicken and homemade french fries. It's so easy to use that my husband is actually motivated to cook in it, and then he can immediately clean it up when he's finished! The recipes that come with it are great, too.

The teflon/non-stick surface is generously thick and didn't burn when the wok heated up to 400 degrees. The removable base makes cleanup extremely easy. The bamboo spoon and chopsticks were not moldy (see somebody else's review), but they are not really needed anyway. Use silicone tongs; metal will scratch the teflon and plastic/rubber will melt at higher temperatures.

I got this wok as a graduation gift and could not be happier! My boyfriend and I use it at least once a week. Wonton soup in the wok is my favorite! And cleaning it is a breeze.

This is a GREAT wok!! We use it once a week or so - and it is wonderful! No burning, great taste every time...and it's so easy!! I highly recommend this product! :)

Since I no longer have a gas stove, I purchased the Rival electric wok. The temperature is consistent, the bowl of the wok is large so plenty of veggies etc. can be stir fried.I'm very pleased with my purchase of the Rival wok.

I find that this wok is easy to use and clean. I like preparing meals with it very much. Food tastes great and cooks fast on this wok as controling the heat is accurate and it is maintained evenly with the temperature control probe. It is worth the price.

I purchased this wok for myself. At first, I didn't think it'll work too well. But after I gave it a try, all I can say is I was impressed by this wok!!! The high temperature really heat up FAST and allow me to cook anything I want. I have been cooking fry chicken with this wok and the result comes out great! No need to go to KFC anymore... =P Also, the temperature control allows me to keep the temperature at the exact degrees that I want during cooking. Oh, it's safe, too.

I recieved this wok as a Christmas present and it has become a permanent fixture in my cooking style. You can throw any type of meat or veggie in here, even do fried rice! It is a great buy, unbelievably easy to clean, and a great size for 2 people or 10 (especially nice when company is coming over!) It is wonderful! I will be getting one for my Dad for father's day soon!

I purchased this wok about a year and a half ago and used it a couple times. Recently, I started using it a few times a week. The non-stick coating is chipping away and bubbling up off the surface. I believe I have used it according to the directions and I NEVER use metal utensils. I don't remember ever seeing a non-stick coating bubble on the surface; it's like tiny blisters. I am going to buy another brand to replace it. Beware.
