This 18 inch weather station by River City Clocks is designed to be used both indoors and outdoors. Besides accurately keeping track of time it indicates changes in the humidity and temperature with two instruments located at the bottom of the clock dial. The hygrometer and thermometer instruments may require adjustment to work properly. This clock requires one AA battery to operate (not included). This includes a two year limited warranty covering workmanship and manufacturers defects.

I bought this clock as a Father's Day gift because it said it could be used indoors and outdoors. My father hung it on the house, underneath a large overhang. After only one rain storm, each face on the clock had water in it and it had started to rust in several places.

This is NOT made for outdoor use. Do not purchase and try to use outside.

I wanted a clock for outside next to the hot tub to be able to keep track of the time. I looked at many others and decided to go with this one as it had 2 other features and I liked the style. I had a $50 gift card which also played into my decision because I probably wouldn't have spent as much otherwise. I like the looks of the clock very much....BUT all 3 faces fog up when it rains or is humid, and both the temperature and humidity readings are off (only slightly). It does tell you how to recalibrate them in the instructions, but I haven't attempted it yet, would have preferred that it was accurate when I got it. We are still deciding if we want to keep it or return it.
