Having all the albums that Jerry Rivera has ever put out I'm quite impressed with his newest sound. He will always be the Prince of Salsa and now the skys the limit....It will take some getting used to for the old die hard Rivera salsa fans,but the new sound is well worth getting use to. Great job Jerry !! Keep making us proud!

"Solo para romanticos" es la unica frase para describir esta excelente produccion de Jerry Rivera. Este disco lo disfrutaras de principio a fin. Contiene 13 temas donde la mayoria son baladas, contiene Pop, Rock y una maravillosa version salsa del tema "Quiero". Este trabajo, el primero de Jerry Rivera totalmente de baladas, fue producido por el maestro Bebu Silvetti. Todos los temas estan excelentes pero los mejores lo son "Muero", "Vuelve", "Y se escapo el amor", "Caramelito", "Que queda de nuestro amor" y Tu". Ademas las dos versiones del tema "Quiero" en balada y en salsa. Sinceramente que Jerry Rivera tiene una voz increible y una excelente calidad para interpretar balada o cualquier genero musical, ya sea salsa, rock o pop. Cuando hay talento nada mas importa solo cantar lo que uno quiere y lo dejarse llevar por los sentimientos. Cuando escuches este CD podras viajar a la histria de cada uno de los temas incluidos en este disco. Sin duda alguna me atrevo a decir que este es uno de mis CD's favoritos y lo recomiendo a cualquiera que disfrute de la buena musica y con calidad. Tambien recomiendo la excelente produccion de la cantante Jessica Cristina titulada "Pasional".

ESTE CD ES LO MAXIMO, DE VERAS QUE JERRY RIVERA SE BOTO CON EL ROMANTICISMO Y LOS TEMAS COMO CARAMELITO, VUELVE Y UNA SEÑAL ESTAN MUY RITMICOS. SIEMPRE ME ENCANTO SU SALSA SABROSA Y ROMANTICA, PERO SABIA YO QUE SU TALENTO DABA PARA MUCHO MAS. TE FELICITO JERRY POR TAN EXCELENTE PRODUCCION!!!!!

RIVERA ES UNA EXCELENTE PRODUCCION. ME ENCANTARON LOS TEMAS DE LAS CANCIONES, LA MUSICA Y POR SUPUESTO LA GRAN VOZ DE JERRY RIVERA. YA ERA HORA DE QUE ESTE ARTISTA SACARA UNA PRODUCCION COMPLETA DE BUENAS BALADAS, TIENE MUCHO TALENTO Y UNA DE LAS MEJORES VOCES ENTRE LOS JOVENES ARTISTAS DE PUERTO RICO. MIS TEMAS FAVORITOS SON: QUIERO, TU, CARAMELITO, MUERO, VUELVE, UN BESO DE QUIEN AMAS, UNA SEÑAL Y PORQUE TU. LES RECOMIENDO ESTA PRODUCCION PORQUE ES MUY ROMANTICA Y PLACENTERA.

I'm totally enjoying this CD. I first saw this guy on one of the Spanish channels and I was impressed with the delivery of his singing. Then I saw the video for "Quiero" on Galavision, and I said, "Hey, I just might have to pick that up." Decided to get the CD, and I'm very pleased. I love the lush string arrangements on a lot of the songs, and Jerry is a more than adequate singer. I love the Spanish male singers such as Cristian Castro, and Alejandro Fernandez, and Jerry Rivera is a great discovery for me. I love Latin ballads, and this CD is perfect for that. I'll have to turn my mother on to this CD. She'll love it as much as I do. She's of Panamanian descent, and we totally love Spanish music. Standout tracks are "Muero", "Volveras", "Un Beso De Quien Amas", and "Quiero", but I don't like having to pick. They're all good, except for that generic Santana sounding one (forgot the name). But this album is a definite thumbs up!

OK. I admit I like Jerry Rivera because he has an awesome voice. But also becaue he loks so fine!! Let's face it. The guy epitomizes the hot bodied latino hunk.

now that that's out of the way... I really wanted to like this album.... I mean..... cuz he's hot and I like some of his other stuff. But the ballads are really "Backstreet Boys rejected songs that wound up on someone else's album" They really have almost nothing going for them EXCEPT(!!!) Rivera's voice.

The songs are pleasant as background music. Pleasant beat. beautiful voice..... But if you're wanting to actively listen.... they are sort of disappointing. I'm not sad I bought it. There's a hot pull out with fotos of Rivera looking mighty mighty hunky. and like I said... it's not terrible. But Luis Miguel "Romances" albums are a better example of how to do an album like this.
