Incredible,
By Reader of wonderful words "Sue" (Salt Lake City, UT United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Riverbed of Memory (City Lights Pocket Poets Series) (Spanish Edition) (Paperback)
I have always loved Daisy Zamora. Her work speaks to me. Her poetry sings to my soul. Her words are powerful and leave a lasting impression on me each time I read it. I first heard her reading her own poetry with Bill Moyer and it gave me chills to hear her words come from her own voice. I Had to have a book of her poems. "Clean Slate" was the first book I purchased. I friend of mine actually introduced me to her work. Her life has been such a difficult one. I love the poems where she speaks of "her woman". She talks of her mother and grandmothers and aunts. Any woman will be touched by her writing.
