There's nothing in this album that is not simply the best! "Hinahanap-hanap kita" is my favorite and it reminded me when we had our vacation in Puerto Galera, Mindoro, Philippines where a local band rendered this song beautifully! Get this CD and you're not going to be sorry!

Rivermaya's compilation of their greatest hits is like taking a ride down the joyous moments of one's youth. Every song invokes a certain moment, recalls a feeling, and awakens my pride in the talent of the Filipino.
The first song "hinahanap-hanap kita" is reminiscent of the cool, mellower, albeit foot-tapping beat of the 70s. From there, it just gets better. The CD both has Tagalog and English songs; among the English-language songs "If," is the most poignant, "214" awakens your long-dormant romantic nature....and what could I say about the Tagalog songs ---they are all awesome! |
