Great looking mailbox, but the paint started peeling only 3 months after we put it outside. I contacted River's Edge, but they would not replace it and tried to pass the buck to the retailers. Horrendous customer service, I'll never buy another one of their products and would strongly NOT recommend this product unless you plan on keeping it indoors...otherwise the paint will start peeling in a few months.

was looking on line and for a bass mailbox all over and said ill try amazon find the best price boy i did i and everything was great service fun and i got my bass in 4 days and save tothanks amazon

I bought this for my stepfather for Christmas and he LOVED it! Everyone in the room was shocked at the size when he first opened it. It looked HUGE. However, once it was on the post outside, it looks great and is not too big.

The "River's Edge" company completely exceeded my expectations, too. They shipped very promptly and even put a personalized note on the packing slip. I would highly recommend them for future purchases.

Great product ,super fast shipping. The hardware that came with this,is more than enough to mount it. It looks fantastic. After reading previous comments on this unit, all I did was to spray it fully ,with 3 coats of clear to protect the finish. No problem, and the neighbors Love it, and so do we .Thanks Larry C

the paint started chipping and peeling a few short months after we got it. its a mailbox so its obviously supposed to be outside.. very poor quality, especially for the price we paid!!

I ordered this for my mother for Christmas. (and her last name is Bass) It was a great surprise. I imagined the actual fish was going to be slightly larger than a regular mailbox and it is HUGE. But it was fun. She lives by a lake and it is perfect for her. We love it. Definitely a great conversation piece.

This Mailbox was great for about one month and then paint began to chip off, it has faded, etc. It was obviously meant to be outside due to it being a mailbox so it should be made so that it does not fade nor chip! Would not recommend this product and especially for the price that I paid!

Bought this as a gift for my father for Christmas. Thought it would be the size of every other mailbox. This thing is huge!!! Might have to add a lock and chain to it as it would be something someone would want to steal. Cannot be happier with my purchase!

This thing is HUGE and that is not an exageration. It's bigger then my yellow lab! If you are looking for a mail box to impress a fisherman, then this is it. Be aware though, that you can't put this on any old post. It really needs a poured cement footing for the post to be able to balance and hold this monster mail box. it's almost 4 feet long an there is a standard size rural type mailbox within the fish. Very impressive mail box though.
