5.0 out of 5 stars It Spins!!
Finally, a Propeller Hitch Cover that actually spins. Adding a "bearing" was a fantastic improvement. My only wish for the next iteration would be that the plastic parts were replaced with metal for greater durability.

Other than that, I'm quite pleased with my purchase.

1.0 out of 5 stars No "New ball bearing spinner"
I knew it was too good to be true, there's no "New ball bearing spinner"! This is the same cheap plastic quality as the last similar one that I previously ordered (3-blade) which recently broke. The 3-blade one cost about $8 more but I think the simpler design was worth it. The 3-blade one also had a tight-fitting pop-off spinner retainer that allows the blade to pop...

1.0 out of 5 stars No "New ball bearing spinner", November 30, 2007

I knew it was too good to be true, there's no "New ball bearing spinner"! This is the same cheap plastic quality as the last similar one that I previously ordered (3-blade) which recently broke. The 3-blade one cost about $8 more but I think the simpler design was worth it. The 3-blade one also had a tight-fitting pop-off spinner retainer that allows the blade to pop off in the rear direction when hit hard (but not fwd unfortunately). This 4-blade product has a plastic nut that will probably keep the prop on when bumped, forcing a blade to break when pushed too hard aftward. I don't so much mind that they're both plastic, seems like a good idea so that they just break the blade if bumped too hard, but I really wanted metal in the friction-joint, like ball bearings or bushings. This River's Edge 4-blade prop has false-advertising (at least at Amazon, the product package said nothing about bearings), no ball bearings at all.

Looks very good on the back of the truck, however traveling for a day caused the chrome nut to work loose and fall off. Fortunately the prop did not fall off, but I can't find a reasonable replacement.

I think it's great. I have had this for a year and no problems. For the price you can't ask for more. It looks and works great.
