Biography

Cool jazz trumpeter and singer Chet Baker was born in Oklahoma in 1929. He is best known for the tracks "My Funny Valentine" and "Let's Get Lost" from the Chet Baker Sings album from 1952.

I have been w/Chet since 1952,with Parker'then Mulligan.

After Gerry,his own quartet w/ Russ Freeman.just a party.

As we say,all the rest is History an yes,were lucky for it.

I must admit as a Trumpet player,he knocks me out on Flugel.

Look for,''The last great concert,''live''Japan,in Montreal.

Keystone corner,''She was to good to me,w/Desmond' Sweet''
