The reviewer from Austin, TX is exactly right. Don't waste your money (not even for a used copy). I purchased this CD used from a local music store and ended up re-selling it back to them within a few weeks. All the selections sound the same, the beat is the same and all the background music sounds programmed. There are other artists out there that are much more original in their compositions. Try Johnannes Linstead, Luis Villegas, Oscar Lopez, Jesse Cook. Also, the reviewer is correct in their opinion of the Real Player audio. Many times I have purchased CD's that sound O.K. on the Real Player only to be disappointed when I play them on my home system. Try not to rely only on Real Audio samples when you purchase. You may be disappointed.

Lara & Reyes know how to make a pleasing song. Every one of the tracks on this album is beautiful. You can dance to it OR relax to it. Grade A guitarisma. Also, your collection is not complete without some Govi, Armik, and Strunz and Farah. They are the masters of their genre.

These guys both play guitar as well as I've ever heard. Put them together and the music they create is simply amazing. Don't expect singing or sound effects, just loping guitar riffs with a back beat and alot of hooks. If you like Shahin & Sepehr or Jesse Cook you will like Lara & Rayes.

This is a wonderful CD. I have listened to it many times and still enjoy it. Such beautiful music which sounds like you are on a Mexican vacation. I enjoyed their Exotico CD, and Riverwalk is even better! Buy it, you will love it.

An excellent blend of jazz and acoustic guitars. Makes you want to get up and move with the music or just sit and relax and unwind after a long day. Very mesmerizing melodies and catching rhythems. I would highly recommend this cd to anyone who enjoys the sound of latin music or who want to escape to a little paradise.

Like many others, I knew I'd buy it when I heard just one of the tracks. And the others are equally refreshing. I hung around every store I heard it in. The reason of delay in buying it though was only due to the fact that it would be available in amazon.com for less. Your next generation is going to treasure it too. Just Buy It !

I discovered the duo while in a shop that had this cd playing. Their music grabbed my attention right away! After having heard only two songs I bought the cd without hesitation. The rest of the cd did not disappoint. What a find!

This 4th CD by latin guitar duo Lara & Reyes has all the ingredients for a" Grammy Award". Great production, strong original compositions, awesome cover art and packaging, beautiful romantic melodies, immpecable playing and also a very important contribution to the art of the guitar and to contemporary instrumental music. I feel that it's like a mature" Guitarras Hermanas"; theyr 2nd album and the logical next step after the great "Exotico" with the same kind of vibe, but more polished and experience. This "maestros" are incredible multi-instrumentalists and performers and I strongly urge everyone to buy all theyr CDs. Remember, if you like romantic, soulful and cool latin guitar music, well, this is the real thing!!!!!!!!

If you love "Exotico," you will love "Riverwalk," an ablum that takes the talent and virtuosity of this super duo to new levels. What can I say? I wish I was a poet to express with words the beauty of this album... But since I am not, all I can say is "buy it."
