Great resource for planning a ride,
This review is from: Road Biking New Jersey: A Guide to the State's Best Bike Rides (Road Biking Series) (Paperback)
This is a fantastic book. I have been using it to help plan my bike rides. Tom gives a great description of the roads, places to see & places to stop to refuel. It really is a great resource for planning some of the best bike routes in New Jersey.

This book is the best I have seen. It is complete with maps as well as routes. Every cyclist, whether a beginner or even if you have been cycling for a long time, should own this book. There are lots of great routes for every level.

How to See the "Garden" in the Garden State,
By
This review is from: Road Biking New Jersey: A Guide to the State's Best Bike Rides (Road Biking Series) (Paperback)
This book is a wonderful guide to parts of New Jersey that many of us don't see. Hammell describes rides in every part of the state, choosing some of the nicest scenery and some of the most pastoral roads. The book performs its job as a ride guide, with ample maps, directions, elevation data, points of interest, and descriptions, but the truly outstanding features of this book are the rides themselves. There are rides available for a wide range of abilities and desired lengths, accompanied by advice on how to tailor a trip to your own desires. The rides I have tried were enjoyable and memorable. At times, riding along these centuries-old pathways, it is hard to tell what year it is.
If you don't find at least one ride in here that you absolutely love, you should check your pulse.
