I read the reviews about how certain customers were shocked to find out that "On the Road Again" was on this CD, and they were wishing Big Idea would put "songs with cleaner lyrics" on their CD's. Having never heard the song all the way through, I hunted down the lyrics.

Know what? There's not one bad word, one sexual reverence, or even a jab at anyone's religion. It's just saying "We're best friends, we're on the road, and we're going to sing the whole way". Basically.

Please, people. Big Idea is run by parents. Mike (voice of Larry) wouldn't sing something on a CD that he wouldn't want his six-year-old daughter hearing, much less your children. On the newer DVD's (Duke and the Pie War, Little Joe, etc..), there's this mini-commercial of Mike's daughter (from the commercial at the start of King George and the Ducky VHS), and then you see "Why we do what we do". Now, does that sound like a comapany who would put dirty songs on children's CD's?

This CD is awesome - filled with lots of fun travelling tunes & uplifting religious songs in classic Veggie Style! The CD is humorous and entertaining, great fun to sing along to, and keeps all of my children [9mos, 2.5 yrs, and 5 yrs]happily singing and be-bopping along despite stop and go traffic and long car trips. My children all love this CD [so do I] and I am so happy we bought it!

My 15 month old daughter doesn't always like to ride in the car, but we all relax when this cd starts playing. It isn't one of those really annoying kiddie cd's either - even my husband and I have a few chuckles while listening to it. We also like the messages that are embedded in the songs, like "Stop and go with Mercy". Excellent price, too!
