great for american fans
For those of us who live here in the US and would never get the chance to ever see a Nick Cave video this is the solution. If you like Nick this is a must have...order it today!

The fine young men.
This film, which was shot in 1989 during the Tender Prey tour, has a strikingly quiet, unrushed, matter-of-fact tone about it, not unlike a Frederick Wiseman documentary. Photographed in contrasty black and white in various US and Canadian cities it features far more footage of the lads sitting about in green rooms or riding on the bus than of them actually...

This film, which was shot in 1989 during the Tender Prey tour, has a strikingly quiet, unrushed, matter-of-fact tone about it, not unlike a Frederick Wiseman documentary. Photographed in contrasty black and white in various US and Canadian cities it features far more footage of the lads sitting about in green rooms or riding on the bus than of them actually performing. If you're looking for a great performance film, this is not it. Stick with the Seeds Live tape or Wings of Desire. If you want a quietly meditative reflection on vicissitudes of a small tour, than this is definitely a wonderful film to watch. Also, the band looks great in a very retro-60's sort of way, especially Mr. Cave who looks movie-star handsome in his french cuffs and double-breasted suits.

a must see for any fan of mr. cave. A rare look into the life and mind of a true genius. after viewing this tape buy everything you can that cave and his cohorts have been involved in.
