Eats batteries faster then the real car would eat gas,
This review is from: Wireless Mouse - Corvette Red (Personal Computers)
My wife bought this mouse for me for a Christmas present. I really liked the looks and thought it would be neat. It was a headache from the beginning. You have to sync it with the USB receiver. Why? No other mouse makes you do this. In addition the original battery lasted...... 2 days! So I figured the battery was sitting around and may be weak to begin with so I put in a fresh Duracell battery in it. It lasted.....3 days. Then I figured the headlights were eating the battery even though they only come on when you click the mouse button. So I put a third battery in and it too only lasted 3 days. So I sent it back.

I love this mouse but the big problem that has been reported by others is that it eats batteries.
They should make a rechargable version.

Envy of my friends,

Everybody loves my new mouse, as do I. Only problem I can report is that it drains batteries something fierce. I got the new mouse (with its no name batteries, maybe they are the true culprit) less than a month ago, and already had to replace the batteries to keep it working. I actually wish it had a manual on/off switch, rather than the automatic system. Other than that, no complaints. I would like it to be around $35, and they should make more models - some classic muscle cars would be awesome (70 Cuda, 69 Trans Am, 69 Camaro Pace Car, etc.)

Let's just cut to the chase. The main reason you get a mouse like this is because it looks "sweeeet". I've been using mine for a little over a week now, and I'm happy to report that it works great. It's actually very comfortable to use, tracks accurately and the buttons and scroll wheel are perfectly placed for usage. Just plug in the USB receiver and off you go!Wanted to update my original review - after about 10 months of using this mouse (5 days a week), it finally died. I lowered my 5 star rating to 2 stars since it didn't last very long. When it worked, it worked well. But lasting less than a year, not good. I replaced with a Logitech Anywhere MX.

This is a lot of fun and makes a great gift but not very practical. If you spend lots of time using a mouse this is not designed for the shape of the hand so is not ideal. It was a great hit as a birthday present though.

This is a really cool idea, lots of fun and gets lots of compliments. Unfortunately the first one I received was defective and the folks at RoadMice were certain it was user error. After two weeks of sporadically answered phone calls and emails they gave me an RMA and I sent it back. I received a new one pretty quickly, but, now 4 + weeks after I ordered the original.
Now that I have a new one, I can see why they were so certain it was user error. The initial set up is very difficult and has to be done a few times before it takes. Buggy software I suppose. I am not sure why they didn't use an already available software program that would make it plug and play like most every USB device made. Since getting it successfully set up it has been just fine, ads a bit of fun to my desk at work and makes the time spent on the computer a lot more fun. Please be aware, if it isn't obvious, these are not ergonomic.

I bought this for my husband's birthday. We can't get it to work. We even took it to the computer place that works on all our computers and they spent an hour and was not able to get it to work.

I gave this as a gift to my dad for Christmas (60yr). He really loved the style and looks but could not use it b/c the functionality was poor. The scroll wheel was difficult to use for him even though he has good dexterity with any other standard mouse. So in short, he likes the look but can't really use it.
