Spectacular characters and fantastic settings.,
By A Customer
This review is from: The Road to Paradise (Hardcover)
This children's book tells the story of an inspirational quest for paradise by a young princess in a magical kingdom. Accordingly, it is quite imaginative with its spectacular characters and fantastic settings. The story is designed to appeal to the inner child present in all of us, and create for us a desire and belief in our ability to find our own paradise. The author even provides some extra thoughts on "the secret" to finding paradise at the end of the book, along with a fill in the blank dream journal. My mom gave me the book for my birthday. As soon as I opened the first page I was captivated by their great adventure to paradise. Then I discovered their incredible website www.Zparadise.com for kids from 6 to 106. Whoah! I love it. I became a conqueror of paradise and two of my friends followed me. I love going there everyday to play, do my homework and talk to my friends. And I keep my copy of The Road to Paradise in my school bag all the time so it brings me good luck. That was a great birthday present. Thanks Mom...

A Magical Delight,
By Tracy Gardner (Ann Arbor, MI USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Road to Paradise (Hardcover)
Reading "The Road to Paradise" did prove to be a magical experience for me. I have been exposed to a book encompassing every essential virtue that children should learn, told through an inventive and adventurous story. Perhaps what I liked best about the book is the way that it displays friendship and loyalty, with the union of Lloyd the Noble Spirit and Intuition. However, how could I not mention the elements of humor and fantasy that combined to create a story teaching whomever may desire to read it, children or adults, to have faith and an open mind. The book presents these as tangible qualities, unlike many other standard children's stories. Princess Fabianna and her crew are all role models for the rewards that determination and imagination can bring.

Realistic Journey,
This review is from: The Road to Paradise (Hardcover)
"The Road to Paradise" chronicles the journey of friends to the magical land of Paradise. Readers are taken along for a fantastical ride through lands of mystery and danger. There's never a moment of boredom in this wonderful journey to be enjoyed by all. The journey reflects many conflicts of real life, but they are simplified to appear realistically in such a short book. This book shows the reality of needing change and the fear of change. Each step of the journey teaches a lesson that could help my daily life. The lessons are presented in simple and broad terms that assist in understanding the letdowns and horrors of life. Try it out yourself and feel the magic of childhood once again.

At the death of her mother, Fabianna becomes the Queen of a troubled kingdom. Her kingdom has been at war for some time now and it is up to her to find the solution to the problem by finding the "Land of Paradise". She is told she must have faith and a messanger will help her. But who is this messanger? After a visit from Sugarcue the Joker, who restores happiness for a short time, Fabianna decides to go in search of peace and happiness herself. On her journey, she encounters four "creatures" and a Nobleman who help her in her search. With the help of these creatures, will she ever find the "Land of Paradise"? And is that love for the Nobleman she has in her eyes? ***** This is a creatively written story with a mixture of fantasy and fun. It is an adventure you will come to treasure. Don't miss out on the chance to travel "The Road To Paradise"!

I have just finished the best story.,
By A Customer
This review is from: The Road to Paradise (Hardcover)
I have just finished the best story. It reminded me a little of a movie I once saw called "The Princess Bride." It was a wonderful movie and really kept you wanting to know what was going to happen next. This story is just the same. It is called "The Road To Paradise." There is something special about this particular story. The main character is a young princess. On the death of her mother, she becomes queen. The death of the queen is handled so beautifully, I would like to recommend this book especially to someone who has recently suffered a loss. This topic is handled with such sensitivity that I think any child may be reassured by it. There is adventure but also plenty of moral lessons presented with not too heavy a hand. The vocabulary words are highlighted and defined, and the text is done in quite a unique way. This is a great book to sit and share together. Hope you like it.

A Kid's Review
This review is from: The Road to Paradise (Hardcover)
It was a good book. It was very good because it had a lot of these creatures and they were very cool. There was lots of adventure in it. These creatures were playing their own sport and then, all of a sudden, they were playing on alligators. There was three castles: the castle of the three circles, the castle of night, and the castle of illusions. The second queen was going for paradise ... that is how it got it's name. I think people should read this book because it's very good.
