Superb storyteller,

The Road to Ratchet Creek is told by one of my favorite authors. He goes out of his way to make the story interesting, historically accurate, and entertaining. This one has Calamity Jane as the main character.Do yourself a favor and try one of his books. You will sucked in by the characters such as Dusty Fog, Mark Counter, Calamity Jane, the Ysabel kid, etc. My kids have been known to read this series as well.
