Since we ship books often, we purchase quite a few envelopes. Because of my Scotch ancestry, I have always reused envelopes; therefore it is important to order something sturdy. These Self Sealing Bubble Mailers appear to be sturdy enough to use and reuse. Perhaps someone who receives a package from us will be able to reuse the envelope.

Protection of our books is important to us. The bubble lined wall construction will provide extra protection during shipping. The seamless bottom will give extra cushioning so our books can reach their destinations unscratched. Also they seem to be stiff and puncture resistant. The self-seal closures will save time and tape.

The price was right, and we received the order promptly. One envelope near the top of the stack in the box was torn slightly but still useable. Otherwise, they were in excellent shape. Soon, we'll order these mailers in another size.

I originally bought these a couple of years ago, when planning to sell a bunch of books. Seventy-five of these have lasted me a lot longer than the initial book sales, and I'm only now getting around to buying some more.

As I had hoped, these #5 envelopes were a great size for shipping just any about books. Most thick textbooks fit comfortably. For smaller books, it's easy to fold over the extra portion and seal the envelope closer to the other side. I recommend to then staple the sides in a couple of places, for added security. Other than books, I've also used these for added padding when shipping retail boxes of small items, or other such things. I keep getting good reviews on here and on "the bay" for how well my items are packed and how securely they're shipped, so I assume that these envelopes guard their contents well.

The padding feels good, the self-seals work very well and are extremely convenient, and the envelopes are light (to save on those shipping costs).

In short, great padded envelopes for all sizes of books and various small items, and this 75-pack is an excellent value.
