This review is from: Road Trip: Music From The Motion Picture (2000 Film) (Audio CD)
This CD is tight! It has a great selection of various types of songs that are great to listen to in any mood. Their is everything from some older rock like twisted sisters "I wanna rock" to rap like Kid rocks E.M.S.P. which is my personal favorite because Kid Rock made one hell of a great song!

I bought this CD after seeing this hilarious movie. This soundtrack was no disapointment to the likes of the movie. My favorite song on the CD is the new song by Buckcherry. If you like hard, classic rock, buy this CD RIGHT NOW!

This CD is pretty good. One of the best songs is "Anything, Anything" by Buckcherry. This CD has some great artists on it like Jungle Brothers, Run DMC, supergrass, Twisted Sister, and Ween. This CD is pretty good so if you like the movie, you might wanna buy this one.

This soundtrack, unlike the movie, is highly original and creative, but just as fun. There are a few songs you've probably heard before, but most are fresh to even the most well rounded music listener. The CD samples from a wide variety of musical genres, from RUN DMC's old school rap "It's Tricky," to Ween's "Voodoo Lady," to the Eels "Mr. E's Beautiful Blues." They combine to make a great CD that you can play straight though, an ever increasing rarity these days.

Not one of my favourite movies of all time but the soundtrack rocks.
I'm not a huge fan of covers either, however, 'Buckcherry's version of 'Anything Anything' (originally by the brilliant 'Dramarama') blows your freekin' head off! An assembly of gold from 'Run-D.M.C.', 'Twisted Sister', 'the Eels' and, the resplendent 'Ween' to top it off! It's a little nostalgic trip wrapped in plastic!

I found the movie and the lyrics were well proportioned. The movie itself related to everyone who has ever been traveling, except for old foggies. I'm 45 and I still keep in touch with todays music. I listen to lyrics as well as beat.Your soundtract was right on the money for the movie .However, I do like certain types of sound.I liked about 6 out of 10 songs played.

OK, like the other guy, ignore the stars. i just wanted to point out that that song "Tricky" is now used for the main song of the game 'SSX Tricky' and about what the other guyz said about that song being written before, on the soundtrack for the movie 'Digimon the movie' LEN does this song called 'Kids In America' which is now on the 'Jimmy Neutron' soundtrack by another artist. Tootles!

I saw the movie and think the soundtrack rightly complimented it. This soundtrack has a good selection of non-mainstream tunes. I hadn't heard any of them on the radio, but they were darn good songs. I really liked the track by the eels, and the one by Jon Spencer Blues Explosion the best. Anyway, good CD. I gave it 4 stars because it was an excellent CD, and I reserve 5 stars for albums that are destined to become classics.
