There are so many series on television with similar themes, but Drop Dead Diva is the bomb!!!! Characters are incredible and familiar to those we know in our own lives. The writers of this series are beyond brilliant! The sub-stories are on key and sure to attract a substantial following. The guest stars fit right in and the cast was very well cast. Will continue to watch this series for as long as they have it on!!! Join me! You won't be disappointed.

I came upon this show by accident, as it somehow showed up in my Netflix queue! At first, I thought it was a movie, but was happily surprised to find out it was a television show. After reading about the plot, I was intrigued. At 37, I admit, I love all the weirdo vampire, supernatural shows that seem to be taking over network television right now. And as much as I love them, they do give me nightmares!

This theme is original and presents many real life situations that women in Jane's situation do face in real life! Stacy, her BFF, is great! I just love her in this role. You may remember her as Meg from "How I Met Your Mother." I won't get into the storyline, as I don't usually care to read that in other reviews. But, as a viewer and a fan, two things I have to say. Number 1: Bring FRED BACK! Luke is boring! Number 2: Jane/Deb and Grayson need to get together. I hate how these shows drag out the "meant to be" love affair forever, just dangling it in our faces. I think it all started with Ross and Rachel in friends. Now, it seems to be a common trend. I waited close to 3 years to see Elena and Damon get together in "The Vampire Diaries" and all it was, was 1 kiss. What a let down! I can truly say that as much as I love this show, if Grayson never finds out that Jane is really Deb, it will be a huge let down. I think many other fans would agree. I understand that the writers need to stretch this out to keep us intrigued, but it's at the point now where it is getting "old." I am almost losing interest in the Deb/Jane/Grayson situation, which was the main draw of the show.

I have to ask...why get rid of Fred? He was cute, amazing, and a great actor!! Luke is BLAH!! And is it just me or does Kim Kardashian not know how to act?

When I started watching the series, I was hooked on the characters, the interesting legal cases they presented, the characters relationship to each other, cameos from other famous actors (Paula Abdul, Joan Rivers, etc.), the occasional dance and singing sequences. I love how they fit in the serious legal and relationship scenes in between the comedy ( or the other way around). I can't wait for the 5th Season DVD to come out.

I think Brooke Elliott is fantastic as Jane, April Bowlby is a wonderful natural comedian, Kate Levering is perfect for the role, Jackson Hurst is compelling as Grayson, and Josh Stamberg great as Parker, and the icing on the cake is Owen. He's perfect for Jane.

I've been watching Drop Dead Diva since it began and have enjoyed it immensely. However their casting agent needs to retire and hire someone with more class. With the choices of grade C guest actors such as Rose O'Donnell, Paula Abdul (whom I do like), Kim Kardashian, and in last nights preview clip, the Good Ole Southern Backwoods Bottom Feeder, Nancy Grace, leads one to think, Good God, who's in charge of the casting? Howard Stern? This show stands on it's own without bringing in weak talent to keep viewers interest. And Jane needs some new colors to wear. She may be round, but she would look beautiful in white and other softer colors.
