I bought a used R1150R BMW and it needed a tool kit. I bought the RoadTech B1 and am very pleased with it. Not only are the tools well made (not like the ones we used to get with the Japanese bikes in the 70s and 80s) and are in a useful case. Of course, I am hoping I don't have to use the tools very often. To replicate this kit using Craftsman or equal, the cost would be double or triple. Great tool kit!

My wife bought this for Christmas last year. Didn't buy it on Amazon since it was last minute gift shopping. I have used it several times already. It is high-quality and everything packs tightly in the plastic holder. I don't know if it has everything I would ever need for emergency road repairs, but it goes with us on every road trip we take. I considered putting together my own road kit (can't be that hard, right?), but there are unique fasteners and sizes on these BMW's, and after seeing this, I changed my mind. Good price value--I have seen much more expensive kits. My local BMW dealer also carries and sells this kit, so it must be popular.

One of my friends bought this for me from Amazon in the States as Amazon would not deliver to Australia. It is a quality piece of kit that includes screwdrivers for those fiddly torx screw heads that BMW insist on putting on their bikes. I tried to buy one when I was in Australia and the bike shop wanted AUD287 for it (worth about the same in US$).It is well packaged and will last the life of the bike and probably more.
